Mothers Day - a tear that is a day for some to celebrate and others to shed tears. It's a complex day full of lots of emotions. I have written something for those who feel the weight of this day, but for those that have reasons to celebrate this is for you!
I wish I celebrated my mum better when she was alive.
I know today can be commercial and I know you don't need to spend money to show or tell your mum how much love, but that doesn't mean it isn't a nice thing to do.
Mothers give all they have and I think on these days, maybe we could give a little more than we do just one day of the year?
I've put together a little gift guide of my picks to help make your shopping easier. They are all Australian, most are mothers themselves and most are just like me - a woman chasing a dream.
Mother's love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible. - Marion C. Garretty

Motherhood brings you to your knees in a way that doesn't leave room for you to judge others. It makes you see that there's no ideal — a constant struggle, constantly compromising, but ultimate love.- Maggie Gyllenhaal
